The objective of this project is to construct a contemporary fire station that complies with Accessibility Design Standards and the Ontario Building Code, situated on College Way in Mississauga, ON.
With the integration of elements like natural lighting, and storm water management system, the design places a strong emphasis on sustainability. The Curtain Wall added in the Apparatus Bay area helps more natural light to enter the space which reduces the use of LED lighting, therefore saving energy. The installation of storm water management system and low flow head showers help to utilize water in the most efficient way. Coniferous trees encircle the fire station to polish the impression of the building and environmental benefits. In addition to offering privacy, these trees enhance the environmental vitality of the locality.
Revit 2023 and AutoCAD are the software tools used for the project, which ensures a precise and efficient design process.
These softwares enable us to create a fire station that is not only operational, but also aesthetically pleasing and ecologically friendly.
